CLG:  Free peppers! Opening Bell: Apples, Sweet Potatoes, Squash!

Good afternoon!
Several people have asked me about getting some of my award-winning garlic plants for their home gardens. I will have them available around the 2nd week of November for $1 each.

Each Friday I will be bringing an assortment of unusual peppers from my garden. They will be on the extras table for FREE, not because I like you; I’m just a great guy.

It was nice having our new Grower, Shane, at the market pick up on Friday. Some may not have heard, but Shane is a budding mushroom enthusiast also. He hopes to have oyster mushrooms available by the end of the year. Stay tune for all the exciting things Shane is doing at Healthy Flavors Arkansas.

We’ve been having a lot of excellent items on the extra table lately. Earlier shoppers get the best selection. We are normally ready for customers to start arriving around 3 PM if you happen to be out and in the area. Just text me to see if we’re ready.

Be sure to SEARCH for your favorite items using the search field. Four instance, type in the word “sale”and see what pops up. We have over 400 items available now!

Most items are listed by 6pm Sunday, but check back again before the market closes Tuesday night to see if any other items are ready to be harvested for you! Eat fresh! Eat local! Eat for better health!

And save your eggshells throughout the week for the laying hens! :-)

The market is now OPEN for orders. Click here to start shopping:

Please check your email a few minutes after you place your order to make sure you get an order confirmation. Thanks!

Champaign, OH:  Pleasant Valley Sunday

The local rock group down the street
Is trying hard to learn their song…
(Pleasant Valley Sunday-The Monkees)

Well, if you are my age, maybe a bit older, maybe a bit younger, you very well spent time, watching, The Monkees. Their tv show, their concert clips. I LOVED them. And, I always felt that they were way cooler than what the public felt.

Later, in my always readings, about all things rock history, I discovered their coolness, their ties to The Grateful Dead, and their desire to break out of the cheesy tv show mode that they were doing.

This song is about breaking out of the ho hum of suburban comforts, breaking out of the norm, the need to break away…

This market, while on the scene, now, for many years, still seems to be apart from the norm. To some, still cutting edge. To others, still a mystery.

But, we continue with our following…our band of Pleasant Valley followers, who also like jumping away from the norm, jumping away from the big box places, and putting their shopping needs, and trust, with us.

We WILL HAVE DAIRY on, very soon!!!

And…we have so MUCH fall goodness in produce, still on the market!!!

AND…Hippie and the Farmer will be adding more varieties of frozen dinners!!!

AND…Cosmic soups will be back on, for the fall and winter months!!!

The summer months all have growers busy with this market, outdoor markets, businesses that boom in the peak seasons, and now, everyone is able to shift the focus back to the market we love….our own Pleasant Valley break out of the norm…

It’s Sunday, your market manager is not as crazy busy, and done with her wayward vacations, and am ready to begin my Weblog nagging, via music, to remind you to get back to ordering…

As always, my love for you runs deep…

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
