Greener Acres Farm: Online Market Closure
It is with great regret that I inform you this will be the last week for the online farm market. This was not an easy decision to make, but with my increasing health problems, it has come to the point that I can no longer continue. Please be assured that any orders placed this week will be filled and delivered as usual.
I apologize that it is such short notice. I will be refunding the pro-rated amounts of the remainder of your membership fees and for those with credits on their account balances, those will be refunded as well. You will each receive an email containing the exact amounts in the following days.
It has been a pleasure providing you with this service and I feel I have made a lovely circle of friends. In the end, I have to be a bit selfish and think of my own health as I move forward.
Thank you all for your incredible support.

Good morning!
This is just a friendly reminder to place your order online by 10 pm this evening.
Remember to hit that last “submit” button. I really dislike disappointing a customer who comes to market, only to find no order in their name because they didn’t hit the last button. When your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. If for any reason you fail to receive this confirmation, please contact Linda as soon as you realize it’s missing.
Also please go to our Facebook page & like, comment, and share this week’s post. Facebook isn’t allowing me to post on multiple sites, or post multiple photos. So please help us spread the word. Surveys indicate that word of mouth is the most effective form of advertisement. Please help us advertise our fantastic growing market!
See you on Thursday!
Blessings,
Michael & Linda

Market News
Hello!
We’ve got lots of great produce for you, still! Good greens and peppers, beans and okra! This is really a delicious time of year, when Fall crops start coming in and overlap with the late summer crops. There is a really nice diversity and abundance!
And don’t forget your meats! Our meat farmers are the best Nashville has to offer and we are proud to work with them! They raise their animals in a conscientious and humane way, and the care and expertise is apparent in the quality of their product. Don’t settle for less!! We also have the best selection of cheese and Dozen Bakery’s fresh bread can not be beat!
You have until Tuesday night to place your order!
Thanks for your support, and we will see you on Wednesday!

Hamilton Rising Up For Climate
Hamilton is one of hundreds of localities worldwide to take to the streets. Come out to City Hall 7pm Sat Sept 8th to make your stand in solidarity with the future.
I’m attending Hamilton Rises for Climate Action at 7pm at City Hall, Hamilton downtown.
On September 8, thousands of rallies will be held in cities and towns around the world to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that works for all of us.
Join us as we hold leaders on all levels of government accountable and demand that they walk the talk on climate action.
Can you join me? Click here for details and to RSVP
Thanks! Please pass this on to friends and relations.
Dawson Local Harvest: Dawson Local Harvest Mentionables
Dawson Local Harvest for August 31st
Dawson Local Harvest Mentionables
HI EVERYONE
On an Online Market like the Dawson Local Harvest it’s easy to just order the same ol’ things every week without noticing some of the other neat products that are innovative, all-natural and healthy alternatives to “regular stuff”. Here’s a couple of examples.
HANALEI BATH has a whole range of Bath and Beauty products using nothing but healthy essential oils, natural cleansing salts, shea butters and the like. Hand-crafted Body Soaps, Bath Salts, and Essential Oil Blends are just some of what they do.
If the only Eggs you’ve ever eaten come from Kroger you are missing out! “Real” Eggs from BEAR RIDGE LODGE not only look different, more importantly they taste different, and in this case Different is definitely better. Omelets, Quiche, or just scrambled, they’re scrumptious! Try some and you’ll see what I mean.
If you’re looking for a way to “spice things up” in your daily menu, consider the somewhat-exotic flavors from CULTURED TRADITIONS. Their blend of eastern European and Russian flavors are not only delicious but tremendously healthy, as in probiotically healthy. There’s always something new to try. This week it’s Garlic Dill Pickles. Yum!! In the Fermented/Probiotic section.
Lots of Vegetables, Mushrooms, free-range Chicken, a Bounty of Baked Goods and More at Dawson Local Harvest.
The Market closes tomorrow night. PLACE YOUR ORDER NOW!
Thanks, Alan, Market Manager
