The Wednesday Market:  Remember to Place Your Order

Good evening.

The Wednesday Market is open for orders. Please place your order by 10 p.m. Monday. Orders are ready for pick up between 3 and 6 p.m. Wednesday. Check the website for this week’s product offerings. Here is the link: https://wednesdaymarket.locallygrown.net/market

Please remember that you do not have to wait to receive the weblog to order. The Market is ALWAYS turned on for orders on Saturday. I try very hard to post the weblog at lunchtime on Sunday, but it’s not always possible. Like, today, for instance. As soon as church was over, we zipped off to a soccer game that started at 1 p.m. Anyway, you are encouraged to place your order as soon as you realize that the system is turned on.

I noticed that there a lot of herbs listed for sale this week. I look forward to summer’s homegrown tomatoes so that I can make caprese salad: sliced tomatoes, shredded basil, and fresh mozzarella cheese. This is my favorite dish!

I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy today’s fine weather. We sure did, even though the boys lost both of their games today. The blue sky, bright sun, and breeze were refreshing.

We’ll see you at the Market on Wednesday.

Thanks,

Beverly

Good afternoon!
This weekend is Toad Suck Daze! Most of downtown will be closed to vehicular traffic so make plans to go around when you come to pick up your order on Friday afternoon. But also make plans to attend this wonderful, family Dash oriented annual event. There will be lots of arts and craft vendors, carnival food, and rides.

Check out the great selection of cheese just added this afternoon. Very limited quantities, so get yours now! Search “lettuce” to see all the varieties listed this week. And take special notice of the gluten free brownies listed by Elizabeth at Arkavalley Farm. They are incredible!

This is barbecue weather! Plan to grill for dinner one day this week by getting some delicious local meat. Lots of great bratwurst, chops, and beef available now.

We have quite a few flower, herb, and vegetable plants available. Use keyword: PLANT to see what we have.

Be sure to SEARCH for your favorite items using the search field. We have over 575 items available now!

Most items are listed by 6pm Sunday, but check back again before the market closes Tuesday night to see if any other items are ready to be harvested for you! Eat fresh! Eat local! Eat for better health!

And save your eggshells throughout the week for the laying hens! :-)

The market is now OPEN for orders. Click here to start shopping:

Champaign, OH:  Eyes Of The World

Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world
The heart has it’s beaches, it’s homeland and thoughts of it’s own
Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings
But the heart has it’s seasons, it’s evenings and songs of it’s own…
(Eyes Of The World-Grateful Dead)

Hello, lovely little market customers!

It’s a dreary Sunday morning, but even without the sun, I can still fill the brightness of a new day, and, a new year, for your market manager.

Yesterday was my birthday, and it was a week spent doing things that I wanted to do, with friends, with old friends I have reconnected with, with family, and with my daughter, who flew in from Florida, to run in the Cap City 5K, yesterday.

I feel like, each birthday gives me more and more insight into who I am, where I am going, and what I am doing. This birthday was a bit different, because I entered into the month, conflicted, and letting a negative incident of last month, make me question me, and what I do. Like, it has not been good in the Hippie’s head.

But, like life often does, at just the right time, and from the right people, the light was thrown on what I have been grappling with, and suddenly, along with this song blaring in my car, yesterday, I began to carve the way back to me. The real me. And, what I do, how I do it, and where I am headed…

And, that it really is okay to live no particular way but your own…

So, there you are…very Eyes Of The World, on this Sunday morning…

And, in Cosmic news…I am adding new product, today, so you will not want to miss out!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Champaign, OH:  She's Back!!

Tis the season…and, no, not the Christmas holiday season…it’s even better!!

It’s the start of asparagus season, and Beth, of Harrigan’s Harvest, is back with the loveliness of her local offering!!

As you know, this season’s length depends on weather, and availability! So, you must get your orders in, each week, as if it’s going to be the last, just so you can indulge in the short lived, but much loved asparagus season!!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
