Berea Gardens: Market is open
Hi Folks,
We have a couple of new additions this week. A spectacular Purple Cauliflower that is tender, sweet, and my newest favorite variety. It is simply wonderful either raw or cooked. Cabbage is also staring to fill and I have offered just a few this week with more on the way.
Blessings,
Bob

Stones River Market: Resending---Market is OPEN -- Meet and Greet Wednesday
Re-sending today’s weblog…just in case you didn’t receive it!
Good Morning, the Market is OPEN and Wednesday will be our ‘Meet and Greet’ ‘Our Growers’ from 4-6:30p. Several of our Growers will have tables set up with items and/or information about themselves. The internet farmers market is a great concept but unfortunately you can’t always meet your grower. We had this event last year and I don’t know who had more fun, the customers or the growers. Please stop by, meet Our Growers and find out what items they will have available this year and share with them items you’d like to see on the market, give us your feedback. It’s Open to the public. Bring a Friend. You do not have to place an order to come to the event.
Memorial Day weekend is next week, there are several things on the market that can kick start your summer grilling, family reunions, picnics, sporting events etc.
News from Our Growers:
6R Farms: Cabbage, Squash, Broccoli new this week and will probably be the last of the strawberries.
Carole’s Herbs (CS3 Farms): Sunflower Butter for a healthy peanut butter alternative, newest hummus Curry Garlic. We also have fresh mint, lemon balm, sage and orange oregano. Let us know if you’d like a recipe!
Erdmann Farms: Arugula is available this week.

Good afternoon!
Got vampires? Recent studies have shown that 99% of vampire issues can be resolved simply by having garlic in your kitchen. Now is the time to stock up. We are digging some beautiful organic garlic right now at Cedar Rock Ridge. This garlic will keep around 8 months in a cool, dark place.
Bradford Valley Farm has whole chicken, chicken tenders, drumsticks, and … PORK: bacon, chops, ham, ground, and roasts. Time to plan something grilled for dinner one night soon. Great food, produced locally!
Check out White River Creamery’s cheese items. Very limited quantities, so get yours now!
Blueberries are being picked fresh this week at Strack Farm right here in Conway. Phyllis and Gary will also be digging new potatoes! Get them while you can and enjoy this early crop of tender spuds.
Looking for something specific? Use the Search option and words like “lettuce” “potato” “pork” or “onion” to see all the available items listed this week.
Besides food options, Rockwood Crafts has a great 50% off deal on their hand sanitizer and lotion sets. Search “set” to see the different kinds.
Be sure to SEARCH for your favorite items using the search field. We have over 700 items available now!
Most items are listed by 6pm Sunday, but check back again before the market closes Tuesday night to see if any other items are ready to be harvested for you! Eat fresh! Eat local! Eat for better health!
And save your eggshells throughout the week for the laying hens! :-)
The market is now OPEN for orders. Click here to start shopping:
